Guns N’ Roses auction

In October 2010 Ron ‘Bumblefoot’ Thal of Guns N Roses very kindly agreed to help Music Heals Children’s Charity raise some money. Ron kindly met me at Manchester M.E.N. Arena where he took our guitar to be signed by ALL the current members of the band, Axl Rose, Ron Bumblefoot Thal, Dj Ashba, Richard Fortus, Dizzy Reed, Chris Pitman, Frank Ferrer and Tommy Stinson.

Our Guitar will now be auction…ed on eBay from 21st October for 10 days, finishing on 31st October giving every GNR fan the chance to own an amazing piece of memorabillia.

Music Heals is a charitable organisation which helps children and young people with cancer and other serious illnesses through the powerful tool of music. We strongly believe that music does heal and will play its magical part in helping to restore a child’s confidence and the love for life after extremely traumatic times.

We believe MUSIC can touch hearts, can bring HOPE back into lives, restore broken dreams.

MUSIC..in all its glory..from classical to Rock, in all its expressions..from DANCE to singing with our own voice, the one instrument we all posses.

The sweet,healing sounds of Music,that will help in times of worry,fear,pain,uncertainty…

to bring strength and hope and the will to go on..to fight on..

Music is an amazing gift. We are here to use it….to HELP. One note at a time…

My Rock in Rio dream set list…..

I was talking with a lot of gunners these days, and the Rock in Rio set list is always appearing in the conversation.  Well I tried to do a set list that I think would blow my mind.  Actually, I think it would be a great set list…but of course, since all the GnR songs are amazing (well for me anyways), you have to let go some and to put some inside the set list!.  The set lst of past tours were amazing, don’t get me wrong, but a little change would do something special.  No?  I think Rock in Rio should have a set list of his own.  Ure okay with that?  😉

So here’s my set list.  28 songs.  28 amazing songs.  What do you think about it?

US tour….who should be opening for Guns N’ Roses!? (suite)

Couple of months ago, I posted a post about who should for Guns N’ Roses on a future US tour!

Well  I taught of somebody else.  Steve Hill.  You probably don’t know him, but this guy is a GREAT guitarist.  He’s probably the best guitarist here in Quebec, and every cd he’s releasing is better than the one before.  He is great onstage, and I am sure people would like him a lot!
