Bumblefoot takes care of bullshit!

For those of you who knows me better, you all know that I never post on my blog, RUMOURS, FALSE tour dates, false news etc.  It would bring more people to look at my blog for sure, but I don’t care.  Like it is said on my blog:

NO RUMOURS, NO BULLSHIT, JUST THE TRUTH!

The fact of the matter is that I love Guns N’ Roses.  Why should I post UNverify things, and unverify rumours just to make myself more of an internet coolness?  Fuck that.  If you want some rumours, some bullshit, there are plenty of sites that are WAY better than me.  on my blog, it is only VERIFY stuff, and it will stay that way.  And today, Bumblefoot on Twitter decided to make himself clear and simple about false rumours and false infos.  Thanks Ron for being such a class act and being there for us!  We support you!

And another thing.  I RARELY POST YOUR COMMENTS ON THE BLOG FOR 1 REASON.  I HATE FAN FORUMS.   THIS IS NOT A FAN FORUM.  IT IS MY BLOG, I DO WHATEVER THE FUCK I WANT WITH IT.  FAN FORUM ARE USUALLY A PLACE FOR PEOPLE TO COMPLAIN AND WHINE, AND I DON’T WAN’T THAT.  AND IT IS USUALLY A PLACE FULL OF PEOPLE WHO JUST DON’T KNOW!

OK, here’s the deal with all the GNR rumors. Some trolls tried to get attention by starting rumors, as they had seen others get. I called a few out on it personally, smacked ’em down and their panties are still all bunched up over it, so they’ve been going to different GNR fansites, they create an account with an IP scrambler, post these fake stories, and then disappear. They’re 1) trying to get me back for bruising their ego, 2) they’re trying to mindfuck the *real* GNR fans and make them lose faith in the band and bandmembers they’ve gotten to know over the years, 3) they saw someone else get a lot of attention in a similar scenario recently, and want some attention themselves, from fans, and from me.

All they want to do is hurt the fans and the band. All the credible GNR fansites see it and have been deleting the silly posts by their own choice. Don’t buy into it. Don’t stand for it. And don’t believe a WORD of it. If the people spreading this would like to come forward and show who they are, I’d be happy to bring them into a courtroom with a libel suit, and if they can prove their statements to be true I’ll cover all costs and whatever else. But that wouldn’t happen because every word of it is made up and that’s why they don’t stick around and remain in hiding.

To any news sites that spread the rumors without fact-checking, that’ll post anything any sociopath makes up and give it a platform, you need to do better.

To sum it up, I have a life, you have a life, these particular trolls don’t – they’re just trying to tear us both down, because they’re bitter.

“All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing.” (Edmund Burke) Don’t give these people power, and don’t do nothing. Find out who they are, and hold them personally accountable for fucking with you and the band.

OK, back to making music, loving my band, my family, the fans, and looking forward to seeing you all as soon as possible. 🙂

Ron

Murderdolls love Axl Rose

It is cool to see some other bands that opened for GnR have good words for the band and for Axl.  SOme times, it gets depressing seing negative stuff said by negative people.  Way to go Murderdolls!

Murderdolls frontman Wednesday 13 has revealed Axl Rose was the perfect host when his band supported Guns N’ Roses on tour last year and has defended the enigmatic singer’s infamous poor time-keeping – claiming any fans who go to a GNR show get their money’s worth.
In a RockAAA exclusive Wednesday said:

“Supporting Guns N’ Roses was awesome. I was terrified at first as you hear all the stories about what it’s going to be like and whether there will be a riot because Axl doesn’t show up. I didn’t know the band so all I knew was what I reading the paper.
“And we were a support band going up against a crowd who sold-out before we were even announced so we knew we were going up against an army ready to see Guns N’ Roses.
“But then we got there on the first day and met the crew who were awesome.
“They loved us and said we could use the whole stage, even use Axl’s catwalk, we could use everything.”
Wednesday reveals the two bands became firm friends with the headliners often rocking out to the Murderdolls’ performance with the exception of Axl who they didn’t see for the first-three weeks of the tour when he personally rolled out the welcome mat to the band.

He continues:

“Every night the band was on the side of the stage, except Axl, rocking out and singing along to 1976 with their fists in the air.
“Then about three-weeks into the tour – no one had ever seen Axl as he comes in right before the show – he came off stage after a three-hour set, comes right into our dressing room with sweat running down him and says ‘Sorry I didn’t get to say hello to you before now, but I’ve heard nothing but awesome things about you, my band loves you guys. I’m going to get dressed, come over to my room and we’ll party.’
“There was nothing that I heard of on that tour that was anywhere close to an audience complaining. He’s Axl Rose, he can be 15 or 30 minutes late. He was talking about that too backstage. He was just like ‘Man, I need to get in my zone, get in the vibe you know. I’m late but when I come out I’ll play for three hours.’
“It’s like he has to play for that long. So he showed up late but he played you an extra hour of songs.
“He’s Axl fuckin’ Rose, you gotta hand it to him.”

So if you are near there, I’m sure it will be great!

He updated is web site and wrote this:

My Peoples,

It’s been too long since I updated this site. As of late I have been totally consumed with moving from Pennsylvania to New York state and rehearsing for upcoming shows in Arlington, Philly, New York, and Boston.

I didn’t even know why I said yes to the first show in NYC until I started putting a set together — then it felt like something I needed to do. I decided it had been way too long since I got out and played some of my own songs, even stripped-down, as these shows will be. These four shows will be just me, an acoustic guitar, a fiancée (Emily Roberts), with special guests/friends to play different shows. I will have a Figg (Mike Gent) in 3 of four cities, an uncle in-law (Chip Roberts), and a George Manney in Philly, and a Frank Ferrer in NYC. Should be a fun trip. Well, at least for me (hopefully).

I have been touring with GnR and Soul Asylum for so much of the last 4 years, that I nearly forgot I had amassed enough new material for a new record. So here goes — my first little romp through the tulips before putting out a new record. Gonna see how they stand up, or fall to pieces. Here are the dates and the cities and venues. Hope to see you there!
