South american tour is over, now the gunners are heading to central america, witrh a first stop in Panama city.  Looking forward to see the reaction over there when they will see the greatest band on earth!

Panama City (Spanish: Panamá) is the capital and largest city of the Republic of Panama. It has a population of 813,097, with a total metro population of 1,206,792, and it is located at the Pacific entrance of the Panama Canal. Panama City is the political and administrative center of the country.

With an average GDP per capita of $11,700, Panama has been for 8 years in the top 5 places for retirement in the world according to International Living Magazine. Panama City has a dense skyline of mostly highrise apartment buildings and condos, but office complexes and hotels as well. Panama City is also an important hub for international banking and commerce. It has an advanced communications service, Internet use is widespread; and Panama’s Tocumen International Airport offers daily flights to international destinations.

Panama City was chosen to be the American Capital of Culture for the year 2003 (jointly, with Curitiba, Brazil).

The Figali Convention Center is an indoor sporting arena located in Fort Amador, Panama City, Panama. It has a high-class structure and architecture, making it one of the best if not the best Convention Center in Central America.

The capacity of the arena is 10,275. It was built in 2003 as the main venue for the Miss Universe 2003 Pageant which took place in Panama that year. Since then, the Figali Convention Center has been used mainly for many concerts and sports events as boxing and ice skating.

Some international artists that have performed in the Figali Convention Center include: Guns N’ Roses , WWE Smackdown, The Black Eyed Peas, Carlos Santana, Daddy Yankee, The Jonas Brothers, Gloria Estefan, Paulina Rubio, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Ricardo Arjona, Ricky Martin, Alejandro Sanz, Shakira, Marcos Witt, Maná, RBD, Teen Angels, Metallica and many more.
